If you wish to become a member of CSA Library, CSA consignment shop, or Movie Club please ask for a Membership application form to fill out. Members are asked to abide to the following terms and conditions for any CSA Membership.
General Terms & Conditions:
· Your Membership Card must be presented at all times for any admission or adoption. A non-member using another person’s Membership Card will not be admitted
· Membership is non-transferable
· Membership will not be frozen for vacation or other times of absence under any circumstances
· Lost membership cards will be replaced for 5LE
· Because our mission is to serve the expatriate community, all new members must possess a foreign passport
· CSA reserves the right to refuse or revoke membership at anytime
Library
· Membership Fee: 120 LE entitling you and your immediate family to library privileges for one year
· Adults may borrow up to 5 books and children 3 books for a period of 3 weeks
· Members are entitled to borrow 3 magazines per family in addition to the 5 book limit and 2 videos
· Overdue books will be charged a penalty fee of 50pts per day overdue. Book borrow can be extended over the phone as long as the book is not on the waiting list.;
· Members will be charged the full retail price for any book that is lost
· Please note that children must be accompanied by an adult when using the CSA Library
CSA consignment shop
· Annual Membership Fee: 100 LE valid from January to December
· A Member receives 50% of donation amount collected for each item
· A Member will have 90 days to collect any money due. After this period, all monies are forfeited
· Items must be clean, pressed and in good to excellent condition to be eligible for adoption
· Clothing will be accepted according to season (winter/summer). We do not take men's clothing
· Mechanical items must be in good working order
· CSA consignment shop reserves the right to refuse any items deemed unfit for donation
· Each member is permitted to drop off up to 50 items once a month
· Items that are not sold may be donated to a charity if the Member chooses to do so. This must be indicated at the time of drop off
· Items will be displayed for two months. At the time of drop off a collection date will be assigned for pick up of money owed as well as returns
· Due to limited storage space, items will be held for two weeks after the display period only. Thereafter, uncollected items will be donated to charity
Movie Club
· Membership Fee: 120 LE. Rental costs 15 LE/movie and New Arrivals 25LE/movie for 2 evenings each.
· Membership holder is entitled to a total 3 movies per 2 day rental. (subject to change)
· Late returns: Members will be charged a late fee of 5LE per movie per day and 10 LE per movie per day for new arrivals starting the 3rd day of rental. Weekend rentals must be returned by Sunday, 9.30am or be subject to late fees.
· After hours drop offs can be inserted into the DVD slot in CSA’s front entrance (Sunday – Saturday)
· A Member is responsible for the safe prompt return of movies prior to vacations
· A movie is considered lost if the late fees incurred are more than 10 days from time of adoption
· All returns will be checked for damages. Members will be charged the full retail price for any movie that damaged or lost
· CSA will do its best to rate movies, however, it is the member’s responsibility to be aware of rating and content for viewing and CSA will not be held responsible.
