Spring is when mild temperatures arrive after several months of cold and gloomy weather - people are finally recharged to jump off that couch, and get out of their cocoon to see what this beautiful season has to offer. This makes it THE perfect time to travel and escape routine. So, where can we head off to?


Weather: still slightly chilly, yet pleasant weather is likely.

What’s Authentic? A meal at a Konoba; a traditional Croatian restaurant, usually family run, only serving local delicacies.

  • Hvar’s lavender fields bloom in April
  • Hike in Plitvice National Parks
  • Jump into waterfalls in Krka National Parks
  • Discover Dubrovnik’s old city, a UNESCO World Heritage Site

Must Eats

  • Crni Rizot: black risotto with cuttlefish
  • Pasticada: a traditional beef dish marinated overnight in herbs, garlic, and wine
  • Krafne: airy donuts with a sweet filling; jam, cream, chocolate, etc.


Weather: the best time to avoid a heatstroke caused by the desert heat; beaches & mountains are warm enough to enjoy.

What’s Authentic? Moroccan baths especially Public Hammams of Marrakech & Chefchaouen, and staying in Riads (accommodation Moroccan-style)
